Adamneve from PussyCash

Can you please give us a brief background of your working experience in the adult industry, how and when did you start? Did you have any mentor?
My first job in the adult industry was for PussyCash. I’ve been working in the Internet marketing since 1998. In 2002 I had joined PussyCash and been working for that amazing company since.

What are some of the key characteristics that make IMLIVE a unique webcam platform?
There are many characteristics that differs ImLive from the rest of the Cams sites, here are just a few of them:
  • Our customer service team, we have a large team that is available for End Users, Hosts and webmasters 24/7/365, and we believe that by replying to a need in no time, is the only way to keep everyone happy.
  • Our creative team, which thinks night and day, how to make a better ImLive, for our users, hosts and webmasters. They are changing the site constantly, making sure it will feel fresh all the time, and that it is answering the needs of everyone.
  • Our programmers, that make sure the site is up to date with the latest technology, that our video stream is the fastest and clearest in the industry, and that we are up and running all the time.
  • The concept of a family, we in ImLive feel the site should be like a family, were everyone can say what they think and it will be taken into account. We listen to our hosts, end users and webmasters needs and are changing the site accordingly.
  • The size of ImLive, ImLive is the largest cam site available, with over 20,000 hosts, over 30,000 webmasters and over 7 million members. And as such more and more end users, hosts and webmasters are interested to become a part of it.
PussyCash has a vivid presence in most of the Webmaster shows over the last years. If you were forced to attend only one show per year, which one would that be?
That’s a hard one. We prefer to take part in all of the webmasters shows, as it is a big opportunity for us to say thank you, and give some of the money we make back to our webmasters in the shape of a big party, a dinner, a room or just a simple drink with a nice chat. So if I was forced to attend only one show, I would say I prefer to attend the one that hosts the largest number of webmasters and by doing so to make sure that we give back to many and not just a few.

What do you primarily have in mind when you start a new promo at PussyCash? Is it the increase of your affiliates basis or the maintenance of active ones?
Why does it have to be “or”? When we start a new promo at PussyCash there are many things that are on our mind. We are trying to get new webmaster to join the program, we are trying to make sure our current webmasters are making more and are happy, so we will get more traffic out of them as well as to make sure they stay with us. But we are also trying to bring out the fact that it is a unique program, and that we are insane about giving away. No one else in the industry gave away as much as PussyCash over the last few years, and we are raising the bar over and over again. We are the first company to pay $100 per signup for a full month in Cam Sites, we are the first company to pay $75 per signup for a full month in a dating site, we are the first company to give 2 Hummers in one campaign, and we have been giving amazing awards all over, as well as the insane $125 per signup campaign that we are running now.

Do you provide any help to newbie performers when they start working with IMLIVE? What % of them are female and what % is male?
We have a big team of customer service for hosts, and they are available for the hosts every need. We have a tutorial that explain the hosts how to get more users into their room, as well as how to make sure the users are happy with the performance. We will help the host in any way we can, and have a forum for the hosts as well, where they can help one another.

Do you lease your webcam platform to other companies or provide it for a % of profits?
No we don’t. We have a few co-branded sites that we have provided to webmasters that are working with us for a long period. But we try to limit it to only a few, as we think that branding is a big issue when it comes to the adult industry and especially to webcams, and leasing the platform might damage the site branding.

What is your affiliate policy on adware traffic sources like Zango?
As we already said on the webmasters boards, ImLive as well as PussyCash, is not using any and will close the account of an affiliate that will use one. We think that the main thing in keeping your affiliate and adding more to your program, is to make sure they make the most out of their traffic, and by using a program like Zango you only make them earn less for their traffic and that’s the opposite of what we want. By keeping our webmasters happy we know they will keep us happy as well.

Does PussyCash generate in-house adult traffic or manages traffic campaigns?
Yes, we have a team in PussyCash that is buying traffic from all over the net as well as off-line. We do our best not to compete with our affiliates on the available traffic so we don’t push the prices up, but if we see that there is a good spot available on a TGP an adult site or such, we will buy the spot for our sites. It is really hard for us to buy traffic for ImLive, as once we show the numbers to the webmasters who sold us the spot, he will start working according to the affiliate program terms. This is due to the fact that we run campaigns like the $125 per signup that we have now, so even if your traffic is converting 1:500 you’re still making $0.25 per click.

You offer both revshare and PPS options to your affiliates. Which one is the most popular and what do you think is the reason behind this?
Most of the affiliate are using the PPS program, but there are 2 reasons for that, the first one is the fact that the Revshare program is new, we had uploaded it about 6 months ago. The second reason is the fact that we are paying unbelievable numbers per signups, and most webmasters are interested to make a lot of money and fast. It is hard for a revshare program to compete with a $125 per signup.
I believe that in time to come more and more webmasters will move to Revshare, as the ImLive end user value is really amazing.

After doing a small research I noticed that non-adult webcam platforms are not that popular yet. What do you think is the reason behind this? It appears to be like a whole world someone forgot to explore.
Well, as everyone here knows, adult is what people are looking for. We have many hosts in mainstream fields as well as end users, but the majority is in adult, it is not like that only in the webcam industry, it is like that all over the net. According to Media Metrix each month over 40% of the Internet audience are visiting an adult site.

What are your thoughts on cross sales and aggressive billing? Are they a necessary evil or something that in the long run will damage our industry?
We don’t believe there is such a thing as necessary evil when it comes to business. You need to make sure you are here for the long run, and not for the quick buck. Aggressive billing is something this industry should stay away from, the end users are already afraid to take out their cards and pay an adult site, so once they are fucked by aggressive billing, they will not take their card out for a long period.
We can also see that the cards association is giving a hard time to this industry, and if we want to get them off our backs we need to show them that we are as clean as the mainstream sites if not even cleaner.

Do you find the competition in dating sites harder than in webcams? Is it the same operating world or a totally different one?
We don’t think that competition is a bad thing, so saying hard, is not how we look at it. The webcam world is a harder world to get into, as there are more barriers then in dating. Due to that, there are only a few players in the webcam industry, and the users knows what they are getting, for their money, most of the time. In the Dating industry, there are just a small number of barriers and many more players, due to that many end users are being fraud by small dating sites and are a bit more afraid to move from one dating site to the other. Once they have found a good dating site they will stay with it for a long time.

Did you ever lose interest or regretted being part of the adult industry?
I guess you haven’t been to the last playboy party this month. or you wouldn’t have ask me this.

High definition video technology has started becoming more widely available and affordable to end-consumers. How close are we from the moment we will be in position to enjoy HDV webcam shows?
I really hope this is just a matter of a few months and not years, but once this will be available to the public, I’m sure you will be able to check it out on ImLive as well.

If you are asked to thank only one person from this industry, which one would that be?
The common webmaster.
